In re Shell Eggs Antitrust Litigation

As part of the Executive Committee, JJLM attorneys represent indirect consumer purchasers of eggs against Cal-Maine Foods, Rose Acre Farms, Daybreak Foods, Hillandale Farms, Versova Holdings, Urner Barry Publications, and Egg Clearinghouse for allegedly conspiring to fix the price of eggs. Plaintiffs allege that Defendants manipulated an industry-wide pricing benchmark, exchanged competitively sensitive pricing information, and leveraged a slight supply disruption and a temporary spike in input costs to justify outsized price increases for conventional fresh shell eggs.
