JJLM ROLE

Steering Committee

As part of the Steering Committee for Plaintiffs, JJLM attorneys helped secure a pending settlement against AT&T for failing to safeguard customers' sensitive information during two separate incidents that exposed the data of tens of millions of people. In March 2024, AT&T disclosed that personal information, including Social Security numbers, from more than 70 million past and present customers had surfaced on the dark web; and in July 2024, AT&T disclosed that hackers had downloaded phone call and text message records belonging to 'nearly all' customers. In January 2026, the Court heard arguments for final approval of the $177 million settlement.
