JJLM partner Nick Lange was appointed to the Steering Committee for Plaintiffs in the class action against AT&T alleging the company failed to safeguard customers' sensitive information during two separate incidents that exposed the data of tens of millions of people.

In March 2024, AT&T disclosed that personal information, including Social Security numbers, from more than 70 million past and present customers had surfaced on the dark web; and in July 2024, AT&T disclosed that hackers had downloaded phone call and text message records belonging to "nearly all" customers.
